Comments on resolved questions?

Why is it that everytime I try to post a comment on a resolved question, wether my comments are long or just a few words, I can never send them?

I always get the answer "you're approaching your 300 character limit" even if my comment is 2 words long and I cannot validate my sending, just go back to Q or to my profile.

It has always been like that...

There could be a technical problem going on to cause that message. The Yahoo Answers Team has asked that if we notice any odd behaviors to please post about it to the Suggestions Board.

They are also going to be updating the site on Sunday a.m. at 12 p.m. Eastern, 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

I think the comments is for the person that was picked as best answer to add further details or comments to what was stated by asker.
