Tell comments about this statement. Shy people are shy because they are not intelligent enough to ha

In more detail, the shy, quiet people are that way, because they do not know how to have a serious side and a humorous side. This therefore makes humorous people more intelligent.

Comment. I didn't make this, I just want to see comments.

Often, people who are introverted are mistaken as being shy. They renew by being alone, not being in a crowd. They have both seriousness and humor, they just may define humor differently. They prefer 1-3 good friends rather than a crowd of acquaintences. Look up the Meyers-Briggs, or Jung interpretation of introversion and extroversion.

Another factor that sometimes contributes is that there are people who are not socially savy. They may have just not had the exposure or guidelines to be socially adept. Has nothing to do with intelligence, simply a skill they haven't acquired.

Shyness has nothing to do with a person's intelligence..so i disagree..A sence of humour doesn't make one more intellingent...Scrap the whole thing I say..non of it makes sense..just being honest..

I actually believe those who are shy seem to be more intelligent. I however dont feel intelligence is what decides shyness. I think shyness is a combo of personality, disposition, social experiences, and what not. We all have qualities about us that vary which includes being an introvert or an extrovert. Maturity and exposure may help a shy person become more connected.

Shy people make careful social decisions, they are actually found to be ofhigher intelligence than people who jump head over a_ss into situations.

Quite the opposite. Shy people are of very high intelligence.

Being shy is more about insecurity with themselves and feeling awkward in social situation's. Though my answer is very short, the problem is very complex and is different for every individual. The point is that their intelligence is in no way diminished.

This is so ridiculous! Shyness has NOTHING to do with intelligence! I was once a very shy person. I had opinions, but I was extremely scared to speak up, scared that I would be laughed at. But, a few years ago, I changed all that and became a more outgoing person and now speak up. Being shy or outgoing has had nothing to do with my intelligence, or having a serious and humourous side. I can be very funny, and can be very serious. Where ever you got this, it is totally wrong.
