What exactly does 'comments' mean on Yahoo answers?

I've posted questions, and seen that I've recieved 'comments' on them, on each level 1-7 you have questions (your questions), answers (your answers) Comments ???? Rates (thumbs up or down) and Votes (voting for best answer.)

So what exactly are the 'comments' and how do I get to see them?

when choose a best answer for a question, you can comment on it (or not).. some folks say things like "oh, thanks, I'll try that" or "good suggestion" whatever... you dont have to comment..

Comments can be posted to resolved questions. Underneath the best answer is a link that says "Add/view comments". Click it to add/view comments. Type your comment (300 characters) only into the comment box, then press submit. You'll need to click the link again to view the comment.
