Anyone have comments on Joe Mauer or the Twins? i want to hear them. did you know joe is hurt?? :( very sad i know basically just comment on the twins

ahhh Joe Mauer...i love that guy. It's really sad he's injured on the Disabled List [DL] because Redmond can't catch nearly as well as Mauer can. and as the Twins are slipping in the ranking, mauer gets hurt. it really sucks. we need joe mauer!! oh and in case you don't know, he may be out longer, it's to be determined.

joe maurer is still growing they should move him to another position he's to tall 6.5 and still growing. that's why he gets injured

The DL is the disable list, he's on the 15 day DL for a strained quadricep.

DL is the disabled list. It opens up a spot on the 25 man roster so they can call up a guy from the minors to take his spot. He is eligible to come off 15 days after he went on. I think Mauer is probably the best catcher in the game right now. He's already got a batting title and the power will come in time. He's got the makings of a gold glover behind the plate if they keep him there. There has been talk of moving him to another position in the past to try to keep him healthy and not tire him out at the end of the year. The Twins are a good team this year, but they miss Liriano in the rotation. Without him I think they will fall short of the playoffs this season.

it means "Disabled List." Mauer will be out for a few more weeks I think. The Twins need him desperately right now.

I heard Joe is feeling better everyday - I think he will be back after the 15 day DL time - Mike Redmond has stepped up in his absence. It will be nice to have him back, but having him back isn't all the Twins need to turn their season around. Pitching Pitching Pitching - the bats will come around

no body that has answered so far is right... he got hit in the the nose on a badly bouncing grounder. he broke his nose and will miss 6 more games

i don't root for the twins but I admire M%26amp;M and if the Twins play their cards right in building around them they could win another WS in a few years.
