I've been getting a lot of comments on my blog. I do a pretty good job blogging and everyone enjoys my posts. The only thing is that all of the sudden the numbers dropped. I used to get 20 comments a post or so and now all of the sudden I'm getting around 4! I'm still posting at the same speed and getting the same number of hits, but people are not commenting! Why?

Do you have a tool like Google Analytics installed so you can actually track traffic on your site? Maybe you are still getting the same number of readers each day, but people just aren't commenting lately. Maybe you would be able to see a sharp decline in traffic coming from a specific source, like maybe a large site stopped linking you or your search engine ranking dropped.

For me, Regardless of how well written the post is I usually do not comment unless thee is some kind of discussion going on. Have you checked your views to see if you still get the same amount that you used to?
